This message is to encourage believers to endure in the time of trials and remain faithful in their fight for eternal reward, the crown of life. It is a reward promised by God to all those who endure trials and remain steadfast in their faith to the end (Revelation 2:10).
This message is a continuation of the previous message titled “You Must Be Holy”. We are not just forgiven and washed from our sins but we are now Saints, members of the body of Christ. We are a holy nation, the called out who are set apart from the world. We are called unto holiness and we are expected to walk worthy of our calling.
A lot of people treat the matter of holiness as an expired topic or as an optional thing. This is not true. Holiness is a command from God. It is the nature of Saints, which is what we become when we get born again.
Before God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah He removed the righteous first. Before He destroyed the first world, He preserved Noah and his family because they were righteous. Before God destroyed the city of Jericho He preserved the only woman who believed, Rahab and her family. God will not destroy the righteous with the wicked. This is why He warns His people to come out of the world, and not be a part of the corruption in the world. Though we live in the world we are not of this world. Let us live like pilgrims who have eternity in view.
How many people will be saved? Are they many or few? What is the response of Jesus Christ to the man who asked Him, “Are there few that be few?
