Jesus taught that there is a time to work, and the opportunity to fulfil our God-given assignments will not last forever. As we wait for the return of Jesus Christ, we must not waste the precious time, strength, gifts, and opportunities God has given us. We are called to preach the Gospel, win souls, pray, help those in need, encourage the weak, and live as faithful witnesses of Christ. Every day presents us with opportunities to advance the work of God’s Kingdom, but we must remember that our time on earth is limited. The night is coming when our present opportunity for earthly service will be over. Therefore, we must not allow laziness, fear, distractions, or the cares of this world to hinder us from doing the will of God. We should not postpone until tomorrow what God has placed in our hearts to do today. The Lord expects us to be faithful stewards of the time and resources He has entrusted to us. Let us therefore labour diligently, remain steadfast in the faith, and abound in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labour is not in vain. May we be found faithfully serving Him when He returns. Scriptural Readings for the Day John 9:4 (KJV) “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” Galatians 6:9–10 (KJV) “9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV) “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” Prayer Heavenly Father, help me to recognize and use every opportunity You give me to serve You and fulfil Your will. Deliver me from laziness, distractions, and fear, and strengthen me to preach the Gospel, win souls, and do good while I still have the opportunity. May I remain faithful and fruitful until the end, and may my labour bring glory to Your name, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
In this powerful message, we examine the biblical call to repent of witchcraft and every practice that contradicts the faith of Jesus Christ. Through Acts 19:18–20, we learn how those who believed confessed their former practices and burned their books, demonstrating genuine repentance. Discover why iniquity is increasing, why light cannot fellowship with darkness, and why every believer must depart from sin and walk in holiness. Key Scriptures: Acts 19:18–20, Galatians 5:19–20, Matthew 24:12, 2 Corinthians 6:14–17, and 2 Timothy 3:5. Watch, be challenged by God’s Word, and embrace a life of genuine repentance and wholehearted commitment to Jesus Christ.
One of the great dangers of the last days is deception. Jesus warned that false Christs and false prophets would arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive people. Today, many false teachers are misleading people through distorted doctrines, false revelations, and claims of supernatural powers. Some have gained large followings because people are more interested in miracles and prosperity than in the truth of God’s Word. We must understand that not every miracle or supernatural manifestation is from God, and popularity is not proof of divine approval. Satan can also use signs and wonders to promote deception and lead people away from the truth. Therefore, our faith must be founded upon Christ and His Word rather than miracles, personalities, or popular religious movements. Let us remain spiritually watchful, test every teaching against the Scriptures, and refuse to follow anyone who leads us away from the truth of Christ. Scriptural Readings for the Day Matthew 24:24-25 (KJV) 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. 25 Behold, I have told you before.” Colossians 2:8 (KJV) “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Prayer Heavenly Father, protect me from false teachings and the deception of the last days. Give me spiritual discernment to recognize error and the courage to stand firmly upon Your Word. Keep me faithful to the truth of Jesus Christ until the end, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Jesus warned that false prophets would arise and deceive many. They may appear religious and even sound convincing, but their teaching and fruit must be examined according to the Word of God. In these last days, we must test everything and refuse to follow teachings that lead us away from Christ. Scriptural Readings for the Day Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” (KJV) Matthew 7:20 “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.” (KJV) 1 John 4:1 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” (KJV) Prayer Lord, give me spiritual discernment to recognize false prophets and false teachings. Keep me firmly established in Thy truth, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
The Bible warns that before the coming of Christ, there will be a great falling away from the faith. Many who once professed Christ will turn from the truth because of deception, persecution, worldly desires, or false teaching. We must remain steadfast in the faith and hold firmly to the truth of God’s Word. The falling away does not mean that people will no longer go to Church. In fact, there has been a tremendous increase in Church growth around the world and I believe it will continue until the Rapture will take place. The challenge is that even though there is growth in the number of Christians worldwide, many people join the Church without genuine repentance. Scriptural Readings for the Day 2 Thessalonians 2:3 (KJV) “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition.” 1 Timothy 4:1 (KJV) “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils.” Matthew 24:13 (KJV) “But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Prayer Lord, keep me from falling away from the truth. Help me to remain faithful, steadfast, and obedient until the end, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
