Love for the world can take our hearts away from God. Many people are so attached to earthly things that they have little desire for heaven. Spiritual sleep makes people insensitive to God’s warnings. Many Christians have become comfortable and careless. The Lord calls His people to wake up, be alert, and walk in holiness. Many people assume they are ready for heaven, but Jesus warned that not everyone who calls Him Lord will enter the Kingdom. Salvation requires genuine faith, repentance, and obedience to God.
