Jesus warned that false prophets would arise and deceive many people in the last days. Not every preacher or teacher speaks the truth of God’s Word. We must test every teaching by the Scriptures and remain grounded in sound doctrine. Those who know God’s Word are less likely to be deceived. Scriptural Readings for the Day Matthew 24:11 (KJV) “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.” 1 John 4:1 (KJV) “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” Acts 17:11 (KJV) “These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Prayer Father, grant me discernment to recognize truth from error. Keep me firmly established in Your Word so that I will never be led astray. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Many people choose the broad road because it is easy and popular, but Jesus said it leads to destruction. The narrow way may be difficult, but it leads to eternal life. As believers, we must remain faithful to God’s truth even when the world chooses another path. Let us stay on the narrow way until we see Christ face to face. Scriptural Readings for the Day Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV) “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Luke 13:24 (KJV) “Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.” John 14:6 (KJV) “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” Prayer Heavenly Father, help me to remain on the narrow way that leads to life. Give me the courage to follow Jesus faithfully, no matter how difficult the journey may be. Amen.
A true Christian is known not merely by words but by a transformed life. Genuine faith produces love, obedience, humility, and perseverance. The world should see Christ reflected in our daily conduct. Let us strive to bear fruit that glorifies God. Scriptural Readings for the Day John 13:35 (KJV) “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” 1 John 2:3 (KJV) “And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.” Matthew 3:8 (KJV) Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: Prayer Lord, let my life reflect the character of Jesus Christ. Help me to bear the fruit of the Spirit and live as a faithful witness for You. Amen.
God has not called His children to uncleanness but to holiness. Sanctification is the lifelong work of becoming more like Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. Every believer should desire to grow in purity and obedience each day. Let your life reflect the character of Christ as you await His return. Scriptural Readings for the Day 1 Thessalonians 4:3 (KJV) “For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication.” 1 Thessalonians 5:23 (KJV) “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” John 17:17 (KJV) “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.” Prayer Father, continue Your work of sanctification in my life. Make me more like Jesus each day and keep me blameless until His coming. Amen.
Sin separates people from God and hinders their fellowship with Him. Through the power of Jesus Christ, believers have victory over sin and can live holy lives. Do not make peace with sin; instead, confess it, forsake it, and walk in the victory Christ has provided. Live each day expecting the Lord’s return. Scriptural Readings for the Day Romans 6:12 (KJV) “Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.” Hebrews 12:1 (KJV) “Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us.” Prayer Lord Jesus, give me victory over every sin that seeks to control my life. Help me to walk in holiness until the day of Your appearing. Amen.
