Do Not Be Ashamed of the Gospel The Gospel is God’s power unto salvation, and the Church has been entrusted with the responsibility of proclaiming it to the world. As opposition to biblical truth increases, some may become afraid or ashamed to identify with Christ. But Jesus calls us to be courageous witnesses. We must faithfully proclaim the Gospel regardless of rejection or persecution. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Mark 8:38 (KJV) “Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” Prayer Lord Jesus, give me courage never to be ashamed of Your Gospel. Help me to proclaim Your truth boldly and faithfully until You return. Amen.
