The garment of righteousness that we receive from God when we repent and are admitted into the kingdom of God can be stained with sin. When it gets stained does that mean that we no longer belong to God’s kingdom? No. When it is stained with sin we repent of the sin, confess it and we (and our garments of righteousness) are washed in the Blood of Jesus Christ. Please note that it is only those who keep their garments white that will be raptured by the Lord.
When we receive the free gift of salvation we also receive a garment of righteousness. This is synonymous to the glory of God that clothed Adam and Eve before the fall in the Garden of Eden.
Many people regret in life because they trust those who have not earned their trust. When you deal with those you don’t trust don’t close your eyes because you want them to use their conscience.
