The Bible constantly warns us against falling from the faith. We constantly need to examine ourselves to see if we are still in the faith. Many are falling into different errors of heretical doctrines, thinking that they have found “new truths” but are lost.
Many Christians are struggling with their spiritual life because they laid blocks on their old foundation, which they would have broken down at the point of accepting the Christian faith, in order to lay a new one in Christ. This message is a call to true repentance and consecration to God.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.” (1Pe 5:8-9 KJV)
God is Spirit and He is the Word too. If you need the abiding presence of God you must have the word of God inside of you. He does not just abide in us through His Spirit but also through His Word.
One thing that many Christians fail to understand fully is that the human body was originally created by God for Himself. We are the temple created by God for Himself to dwell through His Holy Spirit.
