But we must not forget that we need to be alive to enable us continue to do good. We owe those we help the obligation of protecting ourselves from being killed by evil people so that we continue to do good because there is no activity in the grave. Therefore, as we take risks to help others let’s also consider our own safety.
God who gives us the new birth puts all things in place so that we can grow into spiritual maturity. Just as parents provide their children food, protection, shelter, medical care and everything that a child needs to develop both physically and mentally, so also He has given us everything we need.
