Not every spiritual experience or message comes from God. The Bible commands believers to test every spirit according to God’s Word. We should never accept a teaching simply because it is popular or accompanied by signs and wonders. Let the Scriptures always be our final authority. Scriptural Readings for the Day 1 John 4:1 (KJV) “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” Acts 16:16-17 KJV 16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: 17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. Prayer Lord, give me wisdom to test every teaching by Your Holy Word. Keep me from error and establish me in Your truth. Amen.
Can a Christian truly have authority over Satan and the powers of darkness? What did Jesus mean when He said, “Behold, I give unto you power…” in Luke 10:19? In this in-depth Bible study, Pastor Hosanna David explains the biblical doctrine of the Authority of the Believer and how every born-again Christian has been given delegated authority through Jesus Christ. Discover how Christ’s victory over Satan became your victory, what it means to be seated with Christ in heavenly places, and how to exercise your authority in the powerful name of Jesus.
As I was preparing my message to preach I had a vision. The Lord showed me a man with a very big head. The head was not well shaped. He gave me this message to give to His Children, instead of the message I was supposed to preach. Kindly watch and share this message with others. God bless you.
This message teaches us that Jesus Christ is the strong foundation and head of the Church. No power of darkness can defeat the Church that is built on Christ. Though Satan fights against believers, God gives His people authority, strength, and victory through Jesus Christ. God is still looking for men and women who will stand in the gap, remain faithful, and strengthen others in difficult times. The gates of hell may rise against the Church, but they shall never prevail.
Unfaithfulness to God occurs when the heart turns away from wholehearted love, sincerity, and obedience to Him. Jesus made it clear that the greatest commandment is to love God with all the heart, soul, and mind, while James warns that friendship with the world makes a person an enemy of God. Believers must therefore guard their hearts against compromise, worldliness, and divided loyalty. God desires faithful worshippers who will serve Him sincerely, walk in obedience, and remain devoted to Him in every area of life. There is nothing unclean that is accommodated in this kingdom, therefore, we must examine ourselves at all times to see if we are still in the faith.
