Even though we don’t hear messages about the kingdom of God often these days, the greatest message Jesus preached was the Kingdom of God. From the beginning of His earthly ministry until His ascension, He proclaimed the Kingdom and called people to enter it. Salvation is not merely an escape from hell but it is an invitation into God’s Kingdom. Every believer becomes a citizen of God’s Kingdom and is expected to live according to its principles.
Sadly, many Christians know about the Kingdom, but few understand what it means to live a Kingdom lifestyle. The Kingdom lifestyle is a way of life that reflects the rule of God in every area of our lives.
As we begin this series, we shall discover what it truly means to live as ambassadors of Christ and citizens of heaven. We shall study the attitudes, values, responsibilities, and conduct expected of everyone who belongs to God’s Kingdom.
