The everlasting Kingdom of God is reserved for those who remain faithful to Jesus Christ. While salvation is by grace through faith, genuine faith produces a life of obedience and spiritual growth. Let us diligently follow Christ so that we may enter His eternal Kingdom with joy. Our greatest desire should be to hear Him say, “Well done.” Scriptural Readings for the Day 2 Peter 1:10-11 (KJV) “Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.” Matthew 25:34 (KJV) “Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.” Acts 14:22 (KJV) “…that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.” Prayer Lord, strengthen me to remain faithful until the end. May I one day enter Your everlasting Kingdom with joy and hear Your words of welcome. Amen.
Through faith in Jesus Christ, believers have become heirs of God’s eternal Kingdom. This inheritance is not earned by human effort but received through God’s grace. Therefore, we should live as children of the King, displaying His love, holiness, and righteousness. Never lose sight of the glorious inheritance that awaits God’s people. Scriptural Readings for the Day James 2:5 (KJV) “Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?” Romans 8:17 (KJV) “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” Galatians 4:7 (KJV) “Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.” Prayer Heavenly Father, thank You for making me an heir of Your Kingdom through Jesus Christ. Help me to live in a manner worthy of my heavenly calling. Amen.

The kingdoms of this world are temporary, but the Kingdom of Jesus Christ will last forever. When He returns, He will reign in righteousness, justice, and peace. Every promise God has made concerning His Kingdom will be fulfilled. Let us eagerly await the glorious reign of our Lord and King. When He comes He shall comfort us. Let’s not seek the comfort of this world at the expense of pleasing God. Scriptural Readings for the Day Daniel 2:44 (KJV) “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.” Revelation 11:15 (KJV) “And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.” Prayer Lord Jesus, thank You for the promise of Your everlasting Kingdom. Help me to remain faithful as I look forward to the day when You shall reign over all the earth. Amen.
Life on earth is brief, but eternity is forever. Every decision we make should be influenced by the reality that we will one day stand before God. Instead of living only for today, let us live with our eyes fixed on eternal rewards. Those who live for Christ now will rejoice in His presence forever. What are you living for, Heaven or Earth? Do you have eternity in view on a daily basis? Scriptural Readings for the Day 2 Corinthians 4:18 (KJV) “While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” Ecclesiastes 12:13-14 (KJV) “Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” 1 John 2:17 (KJV) “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” Prayer Gracious Father, help me to live each day with eternity in view. May my life please You, and may I remain faithful until I enter Your everlasting Kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Earthly possessions are temporary, but heavenly treasures are eternal. Jesus teaches us to invest our lives in things that have everlasting value. Every act of obedience, love, and faithful service done for Christ is stored up in heaven. Live each day with eternity in view rather than temporary gain. Scriptural Readings for the Day Matthew 6:19-21 (KJV) “Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.” Colossians 3:1-2 (KJV) “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” Prayer Father, keep my heart from becoming attached to the temporary things of this world. Teach me to lay up treasures in heaven through a life of faithful service and obedience. Amen.
