Sanctification is the process by which God makes a person holy, purifying them from sin and conforming them to His image. It is God’s work in us through His Spirit and Word.

Adoption is the gracious act of God by which He makes repentant sinners His children, bringing them into His spiritual family through faith in Jesus Christ, giving them full rights as heirs of His kingdom.
The New Birth, or spiritual regeneration, is the foundational transformation by the Holy Spirit that makes believers new creations in Christ, enabling them to enter God’s Kingdom, receive new spiritual life, and begin a life of righteousness and fellowship with God.
