Good people owe those they help the obligation of protecting themselves from being killed by evil people so that they can live and continue to do good because there is no activity in the grave.
In life being good is good. We have been commanded by the Lord Jesus Christ to do good to all. But we must not forget that we need to be alive to enable us continue to do good. We owe those we help the obligation of protecting ourselves from being killed by evil people so that we continue to do good because there is no activity in the grave. Therefore, as we take risks to help others let’s also consider our own safety.
Matthew 10:16 says “Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”
If good people do not apply this principle of safety harmlessness this world will soon become totally go bankrupt of good people.
No matter how anointed you are there are boundaries you must erect and maintain to respect your humanity. If you do not respect your humanity your flesh will not respect your spirituality.
In dealing with your weaknesses there are people you must not expose your weaknesses to. I know that sometimes you feel like talking to someone, but you don’t need to talk to just anybody.
Talk to only the person that can help you get solution, not someone who has nothing to offer, not someone that will take advantage of your weaknesses. If you are blind you don’t need a blind man to walk you through your dark moments. What you need is a man that sees, knows the way and also ready to help you out.
In dealing with your weakness there are people you need to expose your weakness to and there are people you must hide your weakness from, if you are want to succeed in life and in your Christian life.
When you deal with those you don’t trust don’t close your eyes because you want them to use their conscience.
Many people regret in life because they trust those who have not earned their trust. When you deal with those you don’t trust don’t close your eyes because you want them to use their conscience. If you need to supervise them please do because a lot of people today do not have conscience, while some others have dead conscience.
I have discovered that many people that fail in life have very good reasons for failing. They have very pathetic stories they tell to secure pity from the eyes of people. This makes them feel comfortable, and as such they have no regret nor any motivation to change their pitiable condition.
Know that there is no story that is good enough to act as an evidence for failing in life. We are to work hard and move against all odds in life through the grace of God. Destroy any “evidence for failure” the the devil or life’s circumstances present you to make you a failure.
