The Holy Spirit has emotions. You can make Him happy, and you can also grieve Him. The Holy Spirit lives within every true believer and desires to lead us into righteousness. Sin, disobedience, and bitterness grieve Him and hinder our fellowship with God. Let us walk in obedience and remain sensitive to His voice each day. A Spirit-filled life is essential for those waiting for Christ’s return. Scriptural Readings for the Day Ephesians 4:30 (KJV) “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.” Galatians 5:16 (KJV) “This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.” 1 Thessalonians 5:19 (KJV) “Quench not the Spirit.” Prayer Heavenly Father, forgive me for every way I have grieved Your Holy Spirit. Help me to walk in obedience and be led by Him every day. Amen.
