Death entered the world through sin, but Jesus Christ came to conquer sin and death. For the believer, death is not the final victory because there is a resurrection and the promise of eternal life with Christ. One day death itself will be destroyed forever. Therefore, we can face the future with hope because our Saviour has overcome the grave. O grave, where is thy victory?” Revelation 21:4 (KJV) “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Prayer Lord Jesus, thank You for conquering death and giving us the hope of resurrection and eternal life. Help me to remain faithful and fearless, knowing that death will not have the final word. Amen.
