The kingdoms of this world are temporary, but the Kingdom of Jesus Christ will last forever. When He returns, He will reign in righteousness, justice, and peace. Every promise God has made concerning His Kingdom will be fulfilled. Let us eagerly await the glorious reign of our Lord and King. When He comes He shall comfort us. Let’s not seek the comfort of this world at the expense of pleasing God. Life on earth is brief, but eternity is forever. Every decision we make should be influenced by the reality that we will one day stand before God.
