We must study God’s Word diligently, examine every doctrine, and remain willing to receive biblical correction. As we await Christ’s return, let us hold firmly to sound doctrine and refuse teachings that contradict the truth of Scripture. Jesus gave a solemn warning that we must strive to enter through the narrow gate. This reminds us that salvation and eternal life must never be treated casually. Although salvation is God’s gift of grace, genuine faith calls us to repentance, obedience, perseverance, and wholehearted devotion to Christ. Many people are comfortable with religious activities but unwilling to surrender their lives completely to God. Others continually postpone repentance, assuming they will always have another opportunity to make things right. However, the door of opportunity will not remain open forever. The Christian journey requires spiritual diligence. We must resist sin, overcome temptation, and continue steadfastly in faith. As we await the coming of Jesus Christ, let us examine our lives and make our calling and election sure. Do not allow carelessness, compromise, or delayed obedience to rob you of eternal life. Unfortunately, many people today want Christianity without sacrifice, holiness, or separation from sin. They desire the blessings of salvation while rejecting the demands of discipleship. However, Jesus never promised that following Him would be easy or popular. The broad way may appear attractive because it accommodates the desires of the flesh, but its end is destruction. The narrow way is not about earning salvation through human effort; it is about genuinely following Jesus Christ, who alone is the way to the Father. As we await His return, we must resist the temptation to compromise with the world. It is better to walk the narrow way with Christ than to follow the multitude on the road to destruction. God has endowed every human being with natural abilities and has entrusted His children with gifts, opportunities, resources, and responsibilities. Nobody is useless in this world, and everyone has something valuable to contribute. The important question is: What are you doing with the talents God has given you? Are you using them to serve God and humanity, or are you using them only for your selfish interests? As we await the return of Jesus Christ, we are not called to live in idleness. God expects us to put our talents to work for His glory and the advancement of His Kingdom. We should not be concerned only about what we can gain financially from our abilities, but also about how we can use them to bless others and serve God faithfully. One day, we will stand before the Lord to give an account of how we used the time, talents, and opportunities He entrusted to us. Let us therefore discover our gifts, develop them, and put them to effective use. Remember, it is not enough to use your talents; God also expects you to be faithful in your stewardship. Unfortunately, many Christians today are abandoning sound biblical teachings in favour of modern doctrines that appeal to human desires. Some teachings that were clearly condemned by the apostles are now being accepted and celebrated in certain churches. However, the truth of God’s Word does not change with time, culture, or popular opinion. As we await the return of Jesus Christ, we must examine every teaching in the light of Scripture. Let us remain faithful to the apostolic doctrine and refuse to compromise the truth, regardless of how unpopular it becomes. Jesus taught that there is a time to work, and the opportunity to fulfil our God-given assignments will not last forever. As we wait for the return of Jesus Christ, we must not waste the precious time, strength, gifts, and opportunities God has given us. We are called to preach the Gospel, win souls, pray, help those in need, encourage the weak, and live as faithful witnesses of Christ. Every day presents us with opportunities to advance the work of God’s Kingdom, but we must remember that our time on earth is limited. The night is coming when our present opportunity for earthly service will be over. Therefore, we must not allow laziness, fear, distractions, or the cares of this world to hinder us from doing the will of God. We should not postpone until tomorrow what God has placed in our hearts to do today. The Lord expects us to be faithful stewards of the time and resources He has entrusted to us. Let us therefore labour diligently, remain steadfast in the faith, and abound in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labour is not in vain. May we be found faithfully serving Him when He returns. One of the great dangers of the last days is deception. Jesus warned that false Christs and false prophets would arise and show great signs and wonders to deceive people. Today, many false teachers are misleading people through distorted doctrines, false revelations, and claims of supernatural powers. Some have gained large followings because people are more interested in miracles and prosperity than in the truth of God’s Word. We must understand that not every miracle or supernatural manifestation is from God, and popularity is not proof of divine approval. Satan can also use signs and wonders to promote deception and lead people away from the truth. Therefore, our faith must be founded upon Christ and His Word rather than miracles, personalities, or popular religious movements. Let us remain spiritually watchful, test every teaching against the Scriptures, and refuse to follow anyone who leads us away from the truth of Christ.
